Links to some people I like and admire

Buzzards, books, booze, bus rides --
Malcolm Davidson is a hell of a poet. He writes his weblog here, which chronicles his bus rides to work, his readings, his woman and his child. He is in a foreign country (Germany?) and at work he watches the herons in the fog outside his window and composes poetry, which he posts here.

Fish Bicycle
Fish writes tellingly about an Unhinged Mother Figure, a Neo-Alcoholic Cheating Father, a Reluctant Kitten, and a boy named J who should - in your narrator's opinion - do the right thing and tell her he's been an idiot and beg her to be with him. She is also charming -- seriously charming. She could charm the scales off a goldfish; the smell off scrambled eggs; she could charm a locked door open.

A Life in Dates
Edie Singleton (?) dates people and then writes about it. She is also hilarious and smart. I would like to go out on a date with her just to read the post the following day. I think it would be useful ... you know... in the interest of self-improvement.
