My friend who is working at a Bedouin service station reports that a column of American Abrams M1A1 tanks (3rd light infantry division?) has just passed through Rumalia. Hear that Saddam? That's the sound of your mustache fleeing the country!

The Medina Division appears to be pulling out of Najef and may be moving toward Baghdad to reinforce Sadam's positions there.

Some of you have asked about my source that works at the Bedouin service station. Forgive me if I insist on protecting my source. Suffice it to say he has been working in the service station for years and that we met while I was in the Marines.

A source who is an AWAK commander called me from above Iraq tonight. He was on a bombing run, and he wanted to let his family know that he is ok.

There have been nasty rumors circulating about my friend in the Bedouin service station. All I can say is that if you don’t trust me, don’t read it.

Marines are taking small arms fire from a bus disguised as a Red Crescent ambulance. (thanks sarge!) There have also been reports of mortar fire outside of Baghdad. More later…

This afternoon, outside Basra, an Iraqi boy approached Royal Air Force private John Cooney of Sheffield, handed him a flower, and said: "Thank you for liberating us. In this tulip there is the hope off my nation. There are many ways of looking at this. Some of us see you as liberators, and others as occupiers. There will be no real truth, in the end, but you and I and the machine gun there at your side and this flower in my hand. I pray with my family at night that we can keep them both in the proper place."

You know what. Fuck you Instapundit. You win. I don’t have a friend in a Bedouin service station. I've never been in the marines. It's me who works in the Bedouin service station. Only it's not in a Bedouin service station, it's a Gaseteria, and it's in Queens. You're right. So fucking sue me.

I just called Jet Blue but they aren’t taking reservations yet for flights into Baghdad International Airport. "Try again in a few days" she said. Funny girl.

These dolphins really should learn to keep their beaks (is it a beak or a snout with a dolphin?) shut. What did they think they would be doing in the army?

OK. I don’t work at a service station. I admit it. I thought if it sounded like I was in the oil business I might get someone to send me an email with troop movement information. I work for a marketing firm. You know those ads you get in your credit card statement? That's me. Please leave me alone. If you don’t like my warblog don’t read it.
