Janelle
I’m working on an essay about giant squid (!) , but I can’t seem to land it yet.
In the meantime:
My friend Emma went to Radio Shack to buy a digital recorder, but they didn’t have the one she liked in stock, so she bought the showroom model. When she got it home she discovered some songs that customers had recorded in the store, including this one: Janelle.
Emma plays bass with The Vandervoorts. Visit their site for some MP3 fun. (she’s the Lego with the bottle.)
Also of interest, Ftrain provides this great passive verb and adverb flagger. Now that I’ve recovered from the shock of zapping this site with it, I hope it will improve the writing around here. You have to start somewhere.
And finally, Erroll Morris’ website includes the following amusements:
Why it makes sense to beat a dead horse, why it makes sense to bite the hand that feeds you, and why it makes sense to dig a hole for yourself.
Also, while I'm blogging, So Fake You Make Me Wear It from Someone's Couch is grand.
